Does the term influencer make you cringe?

It makes me cringe too, until I remember that I sometimes fall under that category.

It's hard to pass up an opportunity to make a little bit of money doing something I enjoy--creating content. I'll admit I don't make a lot of money with most opportunities, but I do have a lot of fun writing posts and taking pictures for some companies. I started taking advantage of these opportunities when I was pregnant because I didn't have a traditional 9-5 job and was expecting my first child, so every penny helped!

I am now making less money because I am more selective about the products/companies I work with. However, when I do get a chance to work on a new campaign, Luna is always involved in some way. She is usually the one that dictates where, what, when and how we shoot. If she is not in a good mood, we are not shooting at all and have to reschedule.

This particular outfit we shot in an alley where Luna had a lot of space to safely roam around in her walker. I was shooting (I am including affiliate links in which I will receive a small commission at no cost to you if you use my link to purchase) these comfortable and stylish Dr. Scholls sneakers that I ended up falling in love with. The sneakers are made of recycled water bottles and I can wear them all day long. If you are planning on purchasing these, keep in mind they run 1/2 size big, so make sure to size down! They come in 3 different colors: black, portrait (beige) and the color I am wearing is hydrangea which is a mauve pink. I paired my comfy sneakers with some faded black jeans, a lace top, and a cozy oversized cardigan for a transitional fall look.

It's kind of nice having an infant dictate when and how you get to work. My husband and I have to thank our stroller, baby carrier, walker and last, but not least, Baby Shark for allowing us to take some decent pictures. It's not ideal to have a photoshoot while taking care of a baby, but sometimes it means you get some really interesting pictures. With that said, I have also included some photos of Luna working her magic behind the scenes. Enjoy!

and sometimes she just doesn't give a **** about campaign pictures.
