This was my first time visiting The Flower Fields in Carlsbad with my family...

...and we had an incredible time!

The Flower Fields in Carlsbad consists of almost 50 acres of colorful flowers that bloom from early March to early May. There were a lot of photo ops like giant chairs, topiaries and statues. We loved strolling through the different gardens and the rows and rows of flowers. It truly feels like a magical place.

The Flower Fields had so much space for the girls to run around and play in. We enjoyed walking through the sweet pea maze and looking for four-leaf clovers in the planters. I had no idea they actually existed and I admit I squealed like a little girl when we found one. Our favorite activity was the wagon ride. We rode around the flower fields and enjoyed the view so much. 

We ended our visit with a quick play session at Santa's Playground, which had some adorable playhouses and giant mushrooms. The girls played while the adults sipped on refreshing lemonades. We also saw pizza and ice cream stands, which we didn't get a chance to try because we were too excited about sluicing for precious gems.

On the way out you can stop by the Armstrong Garden Center and take home some flowers and plants after your visit. I hope to experience blueberry picking next time especially since it is one of our favorite breakfast fruits. Overall, it was a fun adventure with so much to see and do. We cannot wait to go back again.
