Dancing feels a little silly when you have a melon attached to your stomach,

but there is no need to miss out on celebrations just because you are pregnant!

The biggest struggle for me has always been finding the perfect party dress for any occasion. I struggled a bit more this time because I had to find something that fits my pregnant belly. Luckily, I came across this gem from PinkBlush. When I first found out I was pregnant, I could not wait for my belly to grow because which other time in my life was I going to get away with rocking a giant pot belly? I picked out this black shimmery party maternity dress because it flaunts my giant belly curves.

Little black dresses are magical. They can be styled in so many ways! I really wanted to wear bold makeup  and gold accessories. I was hoping to make my makeup stand out, so I stayed away from statement jewelry. I paired the dress with simple black sandals that had a gold chunky heel, which were as comfortable as the dress. I am so glad I was able to find trendy maternity dresses through PinkBlush because I have no idea what I would have worn to this party! 

Parties are so much different during pregnancy. My drink of choice of choice contained zero alcohol. I was able to enjoy the food a lot more to the point where I almost moved my chair by the food table. I had to go to the restroom so frequently that I could have made multiple trips with my eyes closed. Sober dancing is still be fun, but sober pregnant dancing, well, let's just say there were a lot of resting breaks involved. My pregnant state brought me more attention than I am used to and at the end of the night I had to make sure I did not fall asleep while people tried taking pictures with me.
